Suzy sunshine smiled at me, So I slipped into the shade Of my sunny cypress tree, Slowly sipping lemonade.
Soon my sadly shifting soul Slowly sauntered somewhere there To sift some thoughts, some to hold, And some to scatter in the air.
Soon my soul was set at ease, So I wrote some poetry In the softly singing breeze And rustling leaves that spoke to me.
Suzy sunshine smiled at me, So I slipped into the shade Of my sunny cypress tree, Slowly sipping lemonade.
