On Friday 13th Simon Swanson came into this world.
From that day on his luck went down th drain in one big swirl.
Simon Swanson broke his leg before he could even walk;
And Simon Swanson got laryngitis before he could even talk.

Simon Swanson went to kindergarten one sad day;
He lost his lunch, then ripped his pants when he tried to play.
And, when he was old enough, Simon Swanson went to school,
And got in trouble every day for breaking all the rules.

And through the years his luck would never change and he would cry,
"Simon Swanson, you're no good. Why don't you just die?"

When Simon Swanson was a man, police work was his job.
Then, one day, when he'd finally saved some money, he was robbed.
Simon Swanson failed at everything he tried to do,
So when his wife and children left him this was nothing new.

And through the years his luck would never change and he would cry,
"Simon Swanson, you're no good. Why don't you just die?"

Simon soon decided to accept Death's dark kiss:
He held the gun against his head, shot... and missed...
