Hey
Jude / Nowhere Man
Everyone in the sixties learned to play some Beatle songs. 'Nowhere
Man' was, in fact, one of my very favourite songs, bar none. I noticed
that its harmonic progressions, and those of 'Hey Jude' were similar,
and thought it would be neat to try to superimpose them. The lyrics
would also create an interesting ironic dichotomy. I did have to
modify the melody and harmonies of 'Nowhere Man' here and there to make
it all fit together, but I kind of like how it came out. This recording
was just an experiment to see how it would sound. I may yet do
something more polished with this.
